Brilliant Bookshops: Winstones, Sherborne

Sherborne is a lovely town in Dorset which boasts two castles and an abbey. Full of history, it is a beautiful place to spend a day- and to pay a visit to Winstone’s Books!

Light and airy, this branch of Winstone’s is a real delight. They specialise in Children’s books, making it a particularly brilliant bookshop as far as I am concerned! The shop offers plenty of room for browsing and a wonderfully calm, relaxed feeling, perfect conditions for a book buying spree.

The shop is extremely well stocked by those who really know what they are doing. From customers who came in whilst I was there, the shop is obviously at the heart of the community, much valued by the locals, offering excellent, friendly service.
